Personally Connect with Madagascar Conservation
Join the MFG's leadership, advisors and members  in Saint Louis this summer. Through presentations and social events, understand the latest issues on the island as well as the variety of programs being implemented by the MFG.

The meeting provides an overview of this international nonprofit, non-governmental organization that enables individual zoos, aquariums, botanical gardens and related institutions to collaborate for the united purpose of conserving Madagascar’s biodiversity.

Member institutions share the costs of supporting the in-country program through the payment of annual membership dues. Explore how you can be involved in this critical effort including attending our 2020 meeting  hosted by Wellington Zoo.

Why Madagascar?

Biodiversity under Threat
Like its famous lemurs, about 90% of Madagascar's wildlife exists nowhere else on the planet. Extreme poverty and resulting deforestation endangers this unique island. This global treasure requires a international response.
